Network Marketing Veterans Yvonne And Reid Nelson Find Final Home At Zija International
After a successful 44 years in the network marketing industry, Yvonne and Reid Nelson decided to leave their previous company as one of the top earners and find a company with which they could finish their gratifying career.
After looking at nearly 20 different organizations, the Nelsons tapered their decision down to Zija International based on its reliable and honest reputation, effective products, emphasis on the natural health revolution, and game-changing owner—Ken Brailsford.
In a recent interview, the Nelsons discuss being drawn to Zija International, their extensive experience in the industry, and what Life Unlimited (Zija’s company mantra) truly means to them:
Interviewer (I): What drew you to Zija International?
Reid Nelson (RN): What drew us initially was the owner, Ken Brailsford. He’s an absolute game changer. We’ve been in this industry for a long, long time, and seeing an owner that has integrity and is full of honesty was really important to us. You can see in his eyes and feel when he is talking to you that he is telling you the truth.
Yvonne Nelson (YN): We were looking for a certain feeling as we were going through this process, and we were able to feel that feeling at Zija.
RN: On top of the products and the owner was Zija’s compensation plan. Being able to see that you can make money through your business on all levels shows how fair it is.
YN: Members of your team can go higher in a much easier and simpler way.
I: What has your experience or journey been working in the network marketing industry?
RN: This month marks 44 years in the network marketing industry for us, and the experience has been great. We’ve been with four established companies, Zija being our fifth, and we’ve been able to take what we’ve learned at each company and know how to grow a big business.
YN: With our experience we are able to see when a business is about to hit its growth period, and we see Zija at a point where they are going to hit huge growth!
RN: The corporate leadership has helped put the growth vision out there; they are ready for the growth that is coming. I’ve seen a lot of companies that aren’t ready for growth potential, but Zija is. It’s one of the reasons we came here!
I: What types of people are you and your team targeting to join your Zija business?
YN: We want people who are honest, have integrity, have a dream, want to change, and aren’t afraid to work
RN: We want people who are hungry and want more out of life and for their families! Ken Brailsford always mentions “legacy, legacy, legacy,” and that’s what we want too! We want a legacy company and a legacy team.
I: To what do you attribute your success in the industry and at Zija thus far?
RN: Teamwork! Success comes from teamwork; this experience is not about us. We came to Zija so that the people we work with could also experience something they could win at.
YN: We are goers, shakers, and doers! We have our entire year of growth planned out. Everything is very duplicable; when those who join us stay on track they will find the top. We give our team a track and they’ll run on it all the way until the finish line. Success comes from a team working together.
I: What does Zija’s ‘Life Unlimited’ motto mean to you?
RN: We’ve been able to experience a sense of freedom through the success that we’ve found, and Zija has the ability to provide that same freedom to others.
YN: We want others to live a Life Unlimited when they want, where they want, and with whom they want.
RN: We want our team to live Life Unlimited—to really live their life. If they don’t get to, we don’t get to; if they get to, we get to! We can say with confidence and accuracy that others can experience Life Unlimited with this opportunity.
YN: Life Unlimited is going and doing with your family, whether that’s your immediate family or your business family!
I: What sets you apart from other Distributors?
RN: The people that get to the top focus on personal development.
YN: It’s all about personal growth and development and staying positive. The hardest thing for people to overcome is the 6 inches between their ears. When you experience negative thoughts or a roadblock, go through it and persevere.
I: What does the future look like for you and your team?
RN: We see success, which means helping people physically and financially. We want to see people find success not only in their business but also in their personal lives.
I: Any parting words?
RN: The most important part of this experience is that we can share the Zija vision with key people. It’s our team—Dennis and Choy Estes, Mac McDonald and Pat Terry, Tony and Jennifer Scoma, Clay Stevens, and many others—that are making all of this happen. We are also very excited about our Zija sponsor, Pat Andersen.
YN: We are excited and thankful to be here at Zija. We are home when we are here and that’s exactly what we were looking for. We were looking for a home for our business family and we found it.
